This year Sara Karlsson started her new position as Station Manager at Svartberget. Welcome to the SITES Community!
Tell us about your background:
I grew up on a farm in Västerbottens coastland and was early introduced to Swedish forestry. The coiche to study a master in forestry at SLU was thus a logical path for me. The last four years I have worked with land surveying and before that for private forest owners helping them manage and take care of their forest properties.
What are you most looking forward to working with SITES / at Svartberget in Vindeln.
I very much look forward to work with all great and skilled people here at the station and to learn from them. Svartberget is at great station and it’s amazing to be a part of this chain from collecting data on a daily basis and contribute to the research community. I am also excited to to get to know all great people in the network around SITES.
What do you do in your free time?
I like to spend my time with the family, like to hike but most of all to be in our summer house by the sea in Västerbotten.
