In the beginning of the autumn, there has been a great interest among different working groups within the government and the Swedish research council VR to visit the Abisko station and it has been a great opportunity for the research station to talk about their ongoing research and the ongoing collaborations such as within the SITES network. At the end of September, the members of the Research Council's group on grant for research infrastructure of national interest (RÅG B) visited the research station and Stordalen to look at the measurements carried out in the SITES thematic programs and got to feel the true Arctic conditions as the first snow of the year arrived in the same day.
