SITES Spectral recently hosted a comprehensive webinar as a refresher course on calibrating fixed sensors. Additionally, in collaboration with SITES Lönnstorp Research Station and SLU Alnarp, SITES Spectral hosted a two-day in-person workshop focused on processing data from fixed sensors and understanding the new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV; drones) regulations in Sweden for multispectral operations at SITES Spectral field staitons.
Joel Sköld, an expert and lawyer specialized in drone law from the Department of Flight and Aeronautical Science at Lund University's Campus Ljungbyhed, provided invaluable guidance on the new UAV regulations. His session was live-streamed to SITES Spectral personnel, the public, and interested parties, attracting a total of 17 participants.
